Banned Book

A book that i have read that is banned is forever by Judy bloom. This book is about a girl who is growing up and is going through hard times in life. The questions are when was the book banned? why was the book banned? and where was the book banned?

The book was banned due to the explicitness it contains stuff about a girl who goes to planned parenthood and things like that. A Texas parent complained about the book forever. In this complaint resulted in the book being banned in certain places. After the book has been banned in northern California a 6 year old kid brought the book to school and got in trouble for sexual harassment for bringing the book to school and letting a friend use it. This book and many of Judy Blumes books have been banned due to the explicitness and explicit sexual scenes,in the book.

The book was banned in between 1982 and 1986. And it is banned in more than ten states. It has been taken off in shelves from stores, libraries and if they bring them or share them and they are caught it can be a fine. Forever was not the only book banned by judy blume she has had over 5 books banned due to life. Her book relate to teenage life and how we are raised now. She states the facts but people just can't face them.
